Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1

Why hire professional anniversary decoration services instead of decorating yourself?

Accepted Answer

Planning an anniversary surprise while managing daily responsibilities can be overwhelming and time-consuming. Professional anniversary decoration services eliminate stress by handling everything from concept to cleanup, arrive with high-quality materials and expert design skills, complete stunning setups in just 1-3 hours saving your precious time, ensure picture-perfect arrangements that look professionally polished in photographs, offer creative themes and ideas you might not think of yourself, and provide hassle-free execution so you can focus entirely on celebrating with your loved one rather than worrying about logistics, tape, or balloon inflation.

Question 2

How much does anniversary decoration at home cost in India?

Accepted Answer

Anniversary decoration costs typically range from ₹2,000 to ₹25,000 depending on the package and customization level. Basic packages start at ₹2,000-₹5,000 with balloons, banners, and simple decor. Premium packages with elaborate setups, flowers, lighting, and themed decorations can cost ₹10,000-₹25,000 or more. The final cost depends on factors like city location, decoration complexity, room size, and additional services like cake, photography, or musicians.

Question 3

What is included in a basic anniversary decoration package?

Accepted Answer

A standard basic anniversary decoration package usually includes balloon arrangements (heart-shaped and regular balloons), anniversary banners or letter foils spelling "Happy Anniversary," LED string lights or fairy lights, artificial flowers or rose petals, table decoration for cake cutting, and basic props like photo frames or couple cutouts. Most services provide setup and removal, with decorations lasting 6-12 hours depending on the materials used.

Question 4

How much advance notice is needed to book anniversary decoration services?

Accepted Answer

While many decoration services accept last-minute bookings (24-48 hours notice), it's recommended to book at least 5-7 days in advance for better availability and customization options. For elaborate themed decorations, premium packages, or during peak seasons (February, wedding season), booking 2-3 weeks ahead ensures you get your preferred date, design, and the best decorators. Same-day bookings may be possible but are limited and often come with rush charges.

Question 5

Which cities in India offer professional anniversary decoration services?

Accepted Answer

Professional anniversary decoration services are available in most major Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Surat, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Kochi, Indore, and Coimbatore. Many national service providers operate across 50+ cities through local partner decorators. Even in smaller tier-2 and tier-3 cities, local event planners and decoration services offer anniversary packages, though variety and premium options may be more limited.

Question 6

What are the most popular anniversary decoration themes?

Accepted Answer

The most popular anniversary decoration themes include romantic red and white (classic roses, candles, and hearts), golden elegance (for milestone anniversaries like 25th or 50th), pastel paradise (soft pinks, peaches, and whites), candlelight romance (ambient lighting with candles), fairytale theme (with drapes and magical elements), bollywood or retro theme (celebrating the year you married), floral wonderland (fresh flowers throughout), and personalized photo themes featuring your journey together. Many couples prefer simple, elegant romantic setups over elaborate themes.

Question 7

Can anniversary decorations be done in apartments or small spaces?

Accepted Answer

Yes, professional decorators specialize in adapting decorations to apartment living rooms, bedrooms, balconies, and small spaces. They use vertical decorations, wall-mounted elements, and space-efficient designs that create impact without cluttering. Bedroom decorations are particularly popular for intimate celebrations. Decorators work within your space constraints and can transform even a small room into a romantic setting. It's helpful to share room dimensions and photos with your decorator during planning for optimal design.

Question 8

Do decoration services provide fresh flowers or only artificial ones?

Accepted Answer

Most decoration services offer both options. Artificial flowers and silk petals are included in standard packages as they're cost-effective and last longer. Fresh flowers like roses, orchids, carnations, and seasonal blooms are available as premium add-ons or in luxury packages, typically costing 30-50% more than artificial alternatives. Fresh flowers create a beautiful ambiance and fragrance but have a shorter lifespan. Many couples choose a combination—fresh flowers for key areas like the table centerpiece and artificial for broader decorations.

Question 9

What additional services can be added to anniversary decoration packages?

Accepted Answer

Common add-on services include customized cakes (ranging from ₹500-₹3,000), professional photography or candid photoshoots, live musicians or romantic playlists, surprise planning and coordination, personalized gift arrangements, candlelight dinner setup with table service, projection or LED screens showing photo slideshows, couple spa arrangements, chocolate bouquets, champagne or mocktail service, and room service coordination for hotel celebrations. Many providers offer bundled anniversary packages combining multiple services at discounted rates.

Question 10

How long does the decoration setup take and when do decorators arrive?

Accepted Answer

Standard anniversary decorations typically take 1.5 to 3 hours to set up, depending on complexity. For basic balloon and banner decorations, setup usually takes 1-2 hours. Elaborate themed decorations with extensive lighting, draping, and floral arrangements may take 3-4 hours. Decorators coordinate timing with you and usually arrive 3-4 hours before your planned celebration or surprise moment. For surprise decorations while you're away, you'll provide access details and a specific time window. Most services also handle complete removal after the event.

Question 11

Are anniversary decorations safe and damage-free for rented homes?

Accepted Answer

Reputable decoration services use damage-free installation methods suitable for rented properties. They use removable adhesives, command strips, tension rods, and standing structures instead of nails or permanent fixtures. Balloon arrangements use weights rather than wall mounting when possible. Professional decorators are experienced in protecting walls, floors, and furniture. However, it's important to discuss any landlord restrictions upfront and choose services that specifically mention "damage-free" or "rental-friendly" decorations. Always verify their damage policy and insurance coverage before booking.
